Mayor’s certificate of appreciation for Glendale staff

Three staff from Glendale’s contract with Waverley Borough Council have received the Certificate of Appreciation from the Mayor of Waverley.

Dean Caroll, Jason Shepherd and Jason Crocker received the certificate in recognition of their efforts caring for an elderly lady who was seriously injured by a lorry when crossing the road.

Dean Carroll used his first aid training to support the injured lady until paramedics arrived and Jason Shepherd and Jason Crocker used their traffic management training to direct the traffic safely around the incident site.
