National green services company, Glendale, is supporting Chesterfield residents by helping them in their gardens.
The garden assistance scheme is offered to council housing tenants for a small charge.
As part of the scheme, Glendale supports 160 households in the borough by cutting grass and trimming hedges for residents who are elderly or have a disability.
Andy Trott, contract manager for Glendale, comments: “The service is delivered by a member of our team who lives in the area, providing a truly local touch. We aim to provide excellent garden services that the residents are not able to undertake themselves ensuring that they have a tidy and well-kept area to spend their leisure time.
“Schemes like this are so important because they demonstrate that the Local Authority is supporting their communities and providing a good, value for money service for everyone. We are proud to be working alongside Chesterfield Borough Council delivering this service to the community.”
Glendale has been working with a variety of clients across the East Midlands area for 20 years providing services from grounds maintenance to tree surgery and landscaping works.
The company places emphasis on the importance of excellent customer service and feedback in order to ensure it’s customers are completely satisfied and confident in the service they receive.
