Glendale donates tree in local park

Glendale have donated a tree to the people of Solihull as part of celebrations marking the company’s 25th anniversary.

The tree, a Holm Oak, is being planted in Elmdon Park, Solihull, by Glendale’s local arboriculture team.  The public park holds special significance for the company as it was the site of its first depot in the local area.

Andy Ansell, regional director for the Midlands, comments: “We are delighted to be able to donate a tree in a place of such historical significance for us.

“Our 25th-anniversary celebrations are a great opportunity for us to recognise and honour our people and this tree represents the strong partnership we have with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and the local community here.  We hope that it will go on to thrive and provide enjoyment for park users in the future.”
