Meet the Team – head of business development

Ben White joined Glendale as head of business development in June 2015.  His main responsibilities involve managing the company’s business development teams both at head office and regionally in order to ensure Glendale’s tender and written submissions are competitive and of a high quality.

Ben joined Glendale from Continental Landscapes where he held the position of commercial manager for seven years.  He was responsible for managing and developing a mixed portfolio of lower value contracts across the North of England.

Prior to this Ben was self-employed managing a small landscaping company.

Ben has been working in the horticulture and grounds maintenance industry for over 21 years.  He started his career working for his family business as a general operative and progressed to a management position over 14-years ago.

Ben holds an RHS Diploma in Horticulture, an HND in Horticulture and IOSH.
