Glendale take on the Rotherham Show

Glendale’s Rotherham based arboriculture team took part in the Rotherham Show on the weekend of September 12-13.

The Rotherham Show is an annual event featuring live music, entertainment and a range of fresh produce and local crafts.

Glendale hosted an aerial rescue display on their pitch, demonstrating the techniques used by the team in the event of an emergency.

The team also had some of their vehicles and equipment on show to illustrate the tools that are used on a day-to-day basis when carrying out work in the local area.

Matt Ford, contract supervisor at Rotherham, comments: “It was a great show for us this year; it’s always a good event to get involved with as it sits right at the heart of the local community.

“It was great to be able to demonstrate some of our techniques and kit so that members of the community could come and interact with us and ask any questions.  It’s a great opportunity for them to put a face to the company that carries out the tree work in the local area and find out more about how they can help look after their trees.”
