Howard Morris joined Glendale as Managing Director for the North, in April 2025, bringing with him valuable expertise to support our expanding operations (from Scotland to the Midlands), driven by a passion for enhancing operational efficiency and championing contractual best practices.

Howard joins Glendale from Krinkels UK, where he held the position of National Operations Director, responsible for all operational activity, and managing a turnover of £45m, and 850 employees.

Previous to this, he was responsible for building Krinkels UK’s south portfolio, securing multi-million pound housing, grounds maintenance and cleansing contracts with many public and private sector clients.

Throughout his career, Howard’s experience has seen him secure many high-profile contracts and foster excellent long term client relationships, including:

  • LB of Newham – consultant, responsible for re-engineering a £12m per annum, street cleaning contract, which was experiencing significant financial problems.
  • Bristol City Council – consultant, supporting the procurement of a grounds maintenance service provider.
  • Knowsley Council – responsible for waste, street cleansing and grounds maintenance, implementing the roll-out of recycling for 54,000 households.
  • Enterprise plc – part of the Business Development team, where he helped to secure the award of the first grounds maintenance and cleansing contract combined.
  • Brophy – Regional Director with operational responsibility (50% of company operations).
