Glendale secures position on Glasgow framework

National green services company, Glendale, has been appointed to Glasgow City Council’s framework agreement for tree work, landscape construction and grounds maintenance services.

As part of the agreement, the company’s local team in Scotland will have the opportunity to provide a wide range of activities across the City including a full spectrum of grounds maintenance and arboriculture services, and hard and soft landscaping.

Glasgow City Council will appoint work through a mini-competition procedure open to all contractors on the framework agreement.

Gerry O’Donnell, general manager of Glendale in Scotland, comments: “Being awarded a position on this framework agreement is an excellent addition to our portfolio of work in the local area and we are looking forward to establishing a firm relationship with Glasgow City Council and delivering high-quality services to the local community.”

The contract commenced on 1st May 2015 and will last for three years with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
