Glendale welcomes a new arboriculture contract manager in the South East

John Hall joined Glendale as an arboricultural contract manager in 2015 and is based at the company’s depots in Watford and Waltham Forest.

He possesses in-depth experience within the arboriculture, conservation, and grounds maintenance industries in both the private and public sectors.  He also has a wide array of expert knowledge and practical experience within the amenity and commercial timber industry, including woodland and contract management, tree surveying and arboricultural legislation.

Prior to joining Glendale John worked for Enfield Homes as an assistant communal services manager as part of a short-term contract overseeing grounds, landscaping and arboricultural works.

John has accumulated over 13 years of experience in senior and management roles in the arboriculture, grounds and landscaping industries.  Most recently he worked as a senior consultant arborist for OCA UK Ltd between 2006 and 2014 and as an arboricultural officer/contract manager for Southend-on-Sea Borough Council between 1998 and 2006.

John is keen on continued professional development and in February 2015 he completed his Arboricultural Association BS5837 Categorisation Training.  In July 2014 he completed a Professional Tree Inspection Course (LANTRA).

In his new role with Glendale, John is responsible for managing the organisation’s arboriculture teams within North London and manages several key public and private sector clients whilst ensuring health and safety legislation is observed at all times.
