This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader providing green services to private and public sector businesses. 

Glendale Managed Services carries out a wide range of grounds maintenance, environmental and countryside management contracts throughout Cornwall and requires a member of staff to join our GM team. Services offered at this office include grounds maintenance, woodland and estates management, vegetation management, fencing, tree surgery, forestry and environmental engineering projects.

The Opportunity

  • Assisting the Contract Supervisor in the effective management of the programmed maintenance.
  • Motivate and support delivery teams across a wide geographical area.
  • Proactively leading by example, especially in QESH requirements.
  • Maintenance and enforcement of security of vehicle, plant and equipment.
  • Enforcement of the quality and customer care ethics through the workforce and maintain workforce discipline
  • To complete and manage necessary daily checks sheets and systems involved with the smooth running operations.

The Person

  • The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of leading staff and small teams.     
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment.
  • Enthusiasm, strong leadership, and great communication skills. 
  • The ideal candidate will be flexible in style and thinking with an open, friendly personality.
  • They will understand and subscribe to the importance of working as a team. 
  • Good IT skills are essential as well as a driving licence.
  • Previous experience in estimating work and delivering innovative customer solutions would be an advantage.
