We are seeking a strong Team Leader  to work on our Surrey Heath contract. 

 

This is a Full time position and the candidate will be required to work 40 hours a week and based at our depot in Surrey Heath. 

 

The Opportunity

  • Assisting the Contract Manager in the effective management of the programmed maintenance works. 
  • Motivation and guidance of the able workforce of the Service Delivery Team.
  • Monitoring staff timekeeping, holidays and sickness
  • Proactively leading by example, especially in H&S issues
  • Maintenance and enforcement of security of vehicle, plant and equipment
  • Enforcement of the quality and customer care ethics through the workforce, maintaining workforce discipline
  • To complete necessary daily check sheets and paperwork involved with the smooth running operations.

 

The Person

 

Candidates should be well organised, and have skills in grounds maintenance operations. Furthermore, they need to possess excellent leadership ability, enthusiasm, excellent people management and communication skills.  A horticultural qualification and a good understanding of Microsoft Office / Google systems would be preferred but not essential.
