Glendale currently has vacancies for team members based from home in the Bristol, Somerset and Wiltshire / M4 corridors.

The Opportunity
This is a hands on role leading a team on site and taking responsibility for the progress of work through daily planning, whilst being able to take quick and effective action to maintain productivity and quality standards. You will have full responsibility for an operational team, their performance and service delivery

Reporting to the Contract Manager you will oversee grounds maintenance services for our clients including grass cutting, hedge cutting and other estate maintenance tasks. This is a fixed term role until October 2021 with the real opportunity for a permanent role in October 2021. There are a wide variety of tasks including grass cutting with both pedestrian and ride on equipment, herbicide application, habitat management and potential woodland work.

The role is remote based from home.

The Person
The position requires genuine commitment and self-motivation and offers an exciting challenge and opportunity. Previous experience in the management of a small team undertaking grounds maintenance tasks would be an advantage.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate relevant grounds management skills including previous experience in the safe use of grounds maintenance machinery, ride-on and pedestrian mowers, hedge cutters etc. A strong commitment to health & safety is essential. Glendale use a web-based works programme for field teams so the ability to use smart phones is essential along with a full UK drivers licence.

Candidates holding PA1/PA6, Lantra Certification, Water Hygiene Cards and/or CSCS cards would be at an advantage.
