The Opportunity

Glendale is seeking to appoint a committed and conscientious individual who will report directly to the Regional Manager.

  • Activities include grounds management, landscaping, estates management, horticulture and arboriculture.
  • The successful candidate will be a highly valued part of the team, responsible for the day-to-day planning of contract activities across the Dorset contract area. 
  • This is a hands-on role involving direct client contact, monitoring the progress of teams on site and taking quick and effective action to maintain both high productivity levels and client public satisfaction. 
  • Production of weekly and monthly reports will also be expected and assistance in developing this fast growing region will be required.
  • Responsibilities will include supervision of staff, work planning, organisation, machinery & plant management, monitoring and implementation of Health & Safety systems and controls, client liaison and quality control.

The Person

  • You will be well organised, and ideally have requisite skills in grounds maintenance, landscaping and arboriculture operations.
  • You will have excellent leadership ability, be enthusiastic as well as possessing people management and communication skills.
  • The successful candidate will be a forward thinking team player responsible for setting and achieving targets. 
  • You will ideally have a sound knowledge of all aspects of grounds maintenance operations.

 A full driving licence is essential.
