Glendale has recently been awarded a 3 year contract to maintain the grounds and gardens for a prestigious housing client spanning across Edinburgh and Central Scotland. We now seek to recruit a number of staff to support this and other growing contracts in both Edinburgh and Falkirk

A Glimpse into the Role awaiting You…

Undertaking grounds maintenance work including mowing grassed areas, strimming, blowing, hedge trimming along with general maintenance to shrub and flower beds.

Who are you?

  • Applicants must be reliable and conscientious, have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn with the ability to work on their own initiative.
  • You should be able to adapt to different working techniques as the post is physically demanding, it would be advantageous if you had experience using a wide variety of small engine machinery such as strimmer, lawn mower, leaf blower etc.
  • A full driving licence and PA1 & PA6 are desirable due to the nature of this role
  • We require you to have reliability, willingness to learn and a strong work ethic which is critical for you to assist us in ensuring our customers receive a high standard of service.
  • Being aware of industry relevant Health & Safety legislation is desirable but training will be given.
