Glendale has recently been awarded a 3 year contract to maintain the grounds and gardens for a prestigious housing client spanning across Edinburgh and Central Scotland. We now seek to recruit a number of staff to support this and other growing contracts in both Edinburgh and Falkirk

Who are you?

Candidates will be qualified in horticulture or similar fields with a minimum of 3 years junior management experience on similar contracts and hold a UK drivers licence. Good IT knowledge and a passion for modern management techniques is required along with great time and people management, administrative and communication skills.

A Glimpse into the Role awaiting You…

Based at our Edinburgh office, the successful candidate will be an experienced and proactive supervisor, able to offer local operational management and support to our customers and service users across the region. Responsible for setting and achieving targets as well as work planning and organisation, machinery and plant management. Have knowledge of supervising grounds maintenance Contracts. Monitor the progress of scheduled work on site and take quick and effective action to maintain high productivity, customer satisfaction and profit targets. Working to clear procedures to ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
