Location: Truro, Cornwall

Salary: Dependant on skills

Hours: 40 hours per week

Glendale, the “green services” division of Parkwood Holding plc has revenues of £45 million and operates throughout the UK.  Glendale’s activities include grounds management, countryside management, landscaping, horticulture and golf course management.

The Opportunity

We currently have a vacancy for a Grounds Maintenance  Chargehand based within our Hayle Team.

Reporting to the Contract Supervisor, you will assist in the day-to-day implementation of the duties required of the contract.  This includes grass cutting, strimming, weeding & hedge trimming, Leading your Team and being responsible for achieving Excellent service delivery to Our Clients.

 The Person

Candidates must have experience of grounds maintenance as well as supervising a small team.  Experience of small machinery such as strimmers, hedge cutters including ride on mowing machines is essential.  A full clean driving licence including towing a trailer and Pa1 & Pa6 Chemical application Qualification is required too.
