Credit Controller

Hybrid working/Chorley, Lancashire

Salary: £22,000

This is an opportunity with a market leader providing green services to private and public sector businesses.

Glendale is seeking an individual with a credit control background, who can also perform some general finance duties. We are looking for someone with drive and attention to detail to join the team at our Head Office in Duxbury. In return we can offer a competitive salary and hybrid working.

The Opportunity
The role will report to the Finance Manager of Glendale. It is a key role and involves chasing debts, maintaining the debtors ledger, as well as cash allocation and pursuing legal action where necessary. You will be liaising with operational management and admin. as well as external customers with regards to debt and invoicing.

The Person
This opportunity will suit an individual with a previous background in credit control with a general knowledge of the finance environment. You must have excellent interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail and have a working knowledge of spreadsheets and computerised accounting software, and a proven ability to work within tight deadlines.
