Credit Controller / Finance Assistant

Glendale is seeking an individual with a credit control background, who can also perform general finance duties. We are looking for someone with drive and attention to detail to join the team at our Head Office in Duxbury.  In return we can offer a competitive salary and a great working environment.

 

The Opportunity

The role will report to the Finance Manager of Glendale.  It is a key role and involves chasing debts, maintaining the debtors ledger, aswell as cash allocation and pursuing legal action where necessary. You will be liaising with operational management and admin. aswell as external customers with regards to debt and invoicing. The role also involves other financial duties including the reconciliation of monthly turnover, processing of employee expenses amongst other finance related tasks.

The Person

This opportunity will suit an individual with a previous background in credit control with a general knowledge of the finance environment. You must have excellent interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail and have a working knowledge of spreadsheets and computerised accounting software, and a proven ability to work within tight  deadlines.
