Glendale Countryside currently has a vacancy for a team member at our Countryside Management operations covering Devon and Somerset.  This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader providing green services to private and public sector businesses. 

The Opportunity

Covering Devon and Somerset, you will be responsible for the day to day implementation of all countryside work undertaken from the office, which includes a wide range of work and activities from tree planting, fencing, scrub control, herbicide application, grass cutting, habitat management, woodland work, and ongoing contracts for a variety of clients. 

We will look to develop your skills in vegetation management, setting up a training programme and career development plan to help you to become a key part of our growing Countryside Management Team.

The Person

Candidates ideally have relevant countryside management skills and hold recognised practical qualifications such as chainsaw/pesticide etc.   We will of course train the right people to these standards. Ground maintenance or estate management experience in a similar field is also desirable. A good understanding and commitment to health & safety and a full UK driver’s licence is required. A CSCS card is desirable but not essential.
