Countryside Team Leader – Woodland & Estate Management |Exeter

£11 per hour

This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader providing green services to private and public sector businesses. Glendale Countryside currently has a vacancy for a team member / at our Estates Management operations from Exeter, Devon.

The Opportunity

Based at our Exeter office, covering Devon, parts of Somerset and West Dorset. Reporting to the Contract Manager you will be responsible for the day to day implementation of all countryside work undertaken from the Exeter office. This includes a wide range of work and activities from tree planting, fencing, scrub control, herbicide application, grass cutting, habitat management, woodland work, and ongoing contracts for a variety of clients. Leading your team and being responsible for achieving Excellent service delivery to our Clients.

We will look to develop your skills in vegetation management, setting up a training programme and career development plan to help you to become a key part of our growing Countryside Management Team.

The Person

Candidates should be able to demonstrate relevant countryside management skills, leadership experience, and hold recognised practical qualifications such as chainsaw/pesticide etc. Have at least 2-years of experience in a similar field. A strong understanding and commitment to health & safety and full UK drivers licence is required. A CSCS card is desirable but not essential.
