This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader providing green services to private and public sector businesses. 

The role includes natural environment works at Portbury Wharf Nature Reserve along with the supervision of volunteer groups, as well as general grounds maintenance at other sites in North Somerset. The role encompasses carrying out weekly safety inspections of site infrastructure, wildlife surveying, general maintenance and assisting with external surveys

The grounds maintenance role includes grass cutting, shrub borders, hedge cutting and hard surface treatments.  

A drivers licence is required.

The Opportunity

  • Full Time – Permanent 
  • 40 hours per week

The Person

  • Driving licence is essential
  • Environmental and grounds maintenance skills would be advantageous
  • Countryside Management skills would be advantageous
  • Background in wildlife conservation
  • Previous experience working with volunteers 
  • Working outdoors in all weathers
