Glendale Bristol carries out a wide range of arboricultural works for domestic, commercial & public sector clients, throughout the Avon, Somerset and M4/5 area and require a member of staff to join our Arboriculture team. 

Services offered at this office include grounds maintenance, woodland and estates management, vegetation management, fencing, tree surgery , forestry and environmental engineering projects.


The Opportunity

  • Permanent contract with the opportunity to build and develop career over the longer term as we are keen to build team resilience.
  • 40 hrs per week , 20 days leave plus bank holidays, sick pay and pension.
  • Good opportunities for overtime earnings.


The Person

  • Proactive member of staff with a passion for arboriculture
  • Strong team working ethic essential
  • The candidate will need to be flexible and reliable with a thorough , proven knowledge of all aspects of tree work: ground and aerial
  • Comfortable undertaking arboricultural duties including tree pruning, dismantling & felling 
  • Nature of work requires the candidate to hold the relevant industry qualifications such as NPTC certificates : 201(CS30), 202(CS31), 206/306(CS38) 308(CS39),. Possession of a valid CSCS card would be an advantage. A full UK driving licence is essential, preferably with trailer towing up to 3,500kg.
  • Must have a positive attitude towards Health & Safety regulations
