Assistant Manager -Grounds Maintenance | Edinburgh

Salary – £25,000 – £27,500

This is an exciting time to join our team as we have recently been awarded a 3-year contract to maintain the grounds and gardens for a prestigious housing client spanning across Edinburgh and Central Scotland. You will have at least 3 years’ junior management experience in horticulture or a similar field, and hold a full UK Driving License. You will possess excellent communication and IT skills, with a customer-facing approach.

Job Overview

• Monitoring the progress of scheduled work on site and to take quick and effective action to maintain high productivity, customer satisfaction and profit targets
• Responsible for setting and achieving targets
• Work planning and organisation
• Machinery and plant management
• Supervising Grounds Maintenance Contracts
• Working to clear procedures to ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
