Arboricultural Contract Manager

South Shields – North East Arboriculture

This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader providing green services to private and public sector businesses.

Glendale is seeking a qualified and motivated Manager to join our skilled Arboricultural teams in the South Tyneside area. The candidate should have a nationally recognised academic qualification to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, to meet the Arboricultural Association technical manager requirements.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on role involving monitoring the progress of teams on site and taking quick and effective action to maintain both high productivity and client satisfaction.

The Person

The successful candidate shall have a track record as a Manager or Supervisor in a small/medium sized enterprise, preferably in the land management sector. The candidate should have a management or supervisory background or experience that shows evidence of the successful creation of strong customer care and planning service delivery through teams.

Specific skills including;

• Good financial and medium term planning skills as well as clear-sighted operational management awareness
• Good accounting, IT (Google) and written skills and the ability to produce professional reports and documents
• Demonstrable range of people management skills
• Strong Health & Safety culture and awareness
• A full, clean driving licence is an essential requirement for this role
