Administrative Assistant

Blandford Forum | £8.50 - £9.00 per hour per annum

Glendale is currently seeking an administrator to assist with the smooth running of our grounds maintenance and countryside management contracts from our offices in Blandford Forum. These activities turn over £500,000 per annum, and employ up to 10 staff and subcontractors. Clients from this office include Sovereign Housing, Aster Housing, Guinness Housing and The Environment Agency.

Applicants should have previous experience in a similar environment, a sound knowledge of computers (preferably the Google operating system) and excellent communication skills. The business is fast paced with ongoing contracts, so the candidates track record with problem-solving and the ability to react to operational requirements will be at an advantage.

Duties and responsibilities will include: invoicing, answering the telephone, filing, photocopying, producing reports, purchasing, payroll administration, general office duties and supporting the local contract manager

Good communication skills are essential as a major part of this role will including communicating with customers, management, suppliers and the general public. The ability to work unsupervised is essential.
