Glendale is celebrating after being shortlisted for two awards which recognise the accomplishments of businesses, green space managers and volunteer groups operating within the horticulture industry.

The national green services provider has been nominated for a Horticulture Week Business Awardin the Arboriculture Contractor of the Year category, and its partnership with Lewisham Council has been nominated for a Horticulture Week Custodian Award in the Best Parks Partnership (commercial) category.

Other categories for the business award included Employer of the Year,Garden Centre Outlet of the Year,Community Engagement Award and Wholesale Nursery Stock Grower of the Year.

Other categories for the custodian award included Best Urban Parks Team, Best Neighbourhood Park,Best Urban Tree Initiative and Best Volunteer Initiative.

Glendale will find out if it has been successful at two award ceremoniesscheduled for late-June.

The Horticulture Week Business Awards will be announced on 28th June at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, and the Custodian Awards at Woburn Abbeyand Gardens on 27th June.
