A team from specialist green service provider Glendale has done its bit to clear up Britain ready for Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday.

Glendale has begun a contract to deliver grounds maintenance for social housing provider Newport City Homes in South Wales.

National green services provider Glendale has been awarded a contract to deliver grass maintenance and arboricultural services for South Tyneside Council.

Angus Fraser, apprentice and training champion, leads the organisation’s apprenticeship programme in Lewisham.

Twenty-year-old Phillip Denford has been employed as an apprentice on Glendale’s seven-year partnership with North Somerset Council since May 2015.

Glendale is joining organisations across the UK marking National Apprenticeship Week between 14 and 18 March 2016.

Joseph Carroll completed his five-year apprenticeship with Glendale Liverpool in November 2015. He was 52-years-old when he joined the scheme making him one of Glendale’s oldest apprentices.

Adam Ryan was employed on a five-year apprenticeship with Glendale Liverpool in 2009 when he was 20-years-old.

In 2015 Glendale announced the extension of its successful Arb Academy to include grounds maintenance candidates.

Bradlee Herriott has been an apprentice on Glendale’s contract with Whitefriars Housing Group since September 2013.
